In Scouts, we aim to build our young people’s confidence, independence and sense of adventure and exploration.  Scouts explore the world, creativity, faith and help to build their own world view.  They are encouraged to work together and take the lead in many aspects of the sessions, from games to camps and even international trips.

 

Here at 9th Orpington, our Scouts go on regular camps (most months these are offered!), swimming, creative skills, hikes, scuba diving, games, backwoods cooking, and so much more!  Our leaders are skilled in both mechanics and water sports which leads to a great range of programme ideas!

 

Our Scout Leader is Jerome (aka King Louie) and he is assisted by Nikki (Merlin), Davinia (Cobra), Kenny (Falcon) and Chris (Red Squirrel)
